Stepping through tired moments
Firing up our Tapas energy
During a girl’s hike this week, our group started talking about those dreaded mid-day tired moments. It was so interesting to hear the different ways these ladies stepped through those moments! Some did an after-work hike, while others made a list and check off one thing. One spoke of a daily coffee and podcast, and another talked about cleaning one room of her home with dance music blaring. After teaching all day, it’s a silent walk for me!
So many different ways to activate your Tapas! Tapas is what yoga calls your inner fire energy. You can fire-up your energy by doing something physical or you can fire it up by doing something mental, such as meditation. It all works.
Stepping through those tired moments allows us to enjoy our evenings. Clearly this is a worthy endeavor! Try asking your friends what they do to fire-up their energy. It’s worth exploring and finding what works best for you and your body.
