Journey in Grace
Rethinking that famous saying about good intentions
Abyhasa
That famous saying about good intentions is unconsciously engrained in so many of us. If we come up short, our good intentions are given a sympathetic pat on the back. Next time work harder and think less, and maybe you can produce results.
But what if we commit to journeying in grace? What if we counted every baby step as a win? Not in a “trophy for everyone” kind of way, but in a “slow and steady” kind of way. We not only commit to the journey, but we also commit to thanking ourselves for every steady, daily step - big or small.
Journeying in grace would also mean that if we mess up, we refrain from kicking ourselves. We gracefully remind ourselves that getting back up after a fall is tough. So our mess-up has now created an opportunity to do something tough.
Yoga calls this practice Abyhasa. Slow and steady effort in the direction you want to go. Honoring each and every step.It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Until next time,
Laura
